EASTON REMEMBERED
Most of these treasured pictures were taken from the early 1900's through the 1950's by Mr. Clarence Felker.
After Mr. Felker's death, in 1964, his widow contacted Mr. Wayne Litzenberger to assist her in operating the photography business. Once the business closed its doors Mr. Litzenberger acquired many of the Felker photos.
Wayne Litzenberger passed away on December 26, 2003 and his widow Mrs. Lee Litzenberger felt this collection of local history should be shared.
Leonard Buscemi, Sr. is a local historian. He has authored "The Easton, PA Trivia book" in 1985, co-authored "Historic Easton" in 2000, authored "Phillipsburg" in 2001, and co-authored "Life Along the Lehigh" in 2003. In 2004 he authored "The Boroughs of Wilson Glendon and West Easton". In 2006, under his direction, the Easton Area Community Center's Easton History Club published " A Chronological History of Easton, Pa. and it's Citizens 1700-Present". Since 1987 he has published "The Easton, PA - Phillipsburg, NJ Calendar" annually. These calendars have been 90 page theme calendars of the local area.
